The Geometry of Nature
Above the dark line of a spruce forest glows a luminous circle with a triangle inscribed in it. The purple sky turns into gold and pink light, as if a sun from another dimension were rising over the forest. The painting combines the order of simple shapes with the softness of the landscape and reveals the hidden order of nature.

A word from the artist
In painting I love searching for the hidden order in what seems ordinary. “The Geometry of Nature” combines simple shapes – a circle and a triangle – with the softness of the forest and the sky. I am inspired by ancient symbols that have spoken for centuries about the balance between earth and sky. What gives me the most joy is working with light, when each new layer of paint makes the picture start to glow from within. The purple sky turning to gold is, for me, the moment of sunrise, when everything is still possible. I would like this painting to bring calm and a sense that the world has its own order.
